Doctor Monitored HCG Diet

LOSE WEIGHT FAST!The HCG diet plan consists of regular doses of the hormone HCG along with following a 500 calorie a day diet. The reason why only 500 calories are needed is because the body is already pulling at least 2000 calories from the body's stored fat to use as energy. Since you are only consuming 500 calories on the HCG diet plan, there are certain foods that you need to avoid and certain foods that you need to eat. The foods that you are required to eat on the diet plan are the ones that will help restore your body back to its normal balance of burning fat.

The following is what Dr. Simeons recommended eating in the HCG diet protocol that he developed after extensive research on the hormone.

Breakfast
For breakfast, you need to keep only to black coffee (organic preferred) and several types of tea. The types of tea that you can have are organic green tea, organic Wu Long tea, organic chamomile tea, and Yerba Mate tea. You can have as much coffee and tea that you want as long as you do not add anything else into the drinks. Also, they should be made with pure water and not tap water.

Lunch and Dinner
For lunch and dinner there are certain proteins that you should eat. They include organic fed beef or veal, organic skinless chicken breast, and a couple different types of fish which are low in mercury.

Dieters following the HCG diet should expect to lose somewhere between a half pound and 3 pounds of fat each day”

Along with the protein, you can choose from a list of vegetables such as spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, and celery. Only one kind of vegetable should be eaten with a meal. Do not add any oil or fats to cook these vegetables, instead boil, grill, or steam them. Along with the vegetables, a small apple, small grapefruit, and a cup of strawberries can be eaten as long as they are organic.

Don't eat the same exact meals for lunch and dinner the same day. So, if you chose to eat halibut and spinach for lunch, you would then have to pick a different protein source and vegetable for dinner. There are certain herbs and seasonings that you can use for your foods as well.

If you find that you are hungry during the day, you can have all the coffee and tea that you want throughout the day. You can also have as much water as you want and are encouraged to drink as much water as you like.

Although the HCG diet plan may not seem appealing, you are only on this phase of the diet for the first 21 to 26 days of the diet. After that phase, your metabolism is set back to normal and then you can eat what you want, when you want, as long as you eat organic and avoid processed food.

Dr. Simeons noted how patients lost significant amounts of weight while their bodies reshaped naturally- without exercise, and without effort. This led him to discover how patients lost more fat tissue directly from adipose tissue accumulations, causing highly visible contouring of the body.

The double chin, potbelly, and fat around hips and thighs are the first to go”

HCG is an acronym for the hormone Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, which is found in both men and women, though pregnant women have the highest levels of HCG in their bodies. The HCG hormone can be made synthetically or extracted from a pregnant woman's urine and then processed for use by other humans. Advocates of the HCG diet believe that, by adhering to the diet plan and taking daily injections of HCG, participants can successfully reach their targeted weight. They say that dieters following the HCG diet should expect to lose somewhere between a half pound and 3 pounds of fat each day on the low-calorie, high-fiber plan.

Of the three kinds of fat, structural fat is essential because it cushions our organs. Then there’s the kind of fat that gives us a reserve of energy, fueling the body between meals. But a third kind of fat - the unsightly fat that ruins our appearance - is totally unhealthy. This unwanted fat is not only unhealthy, it just happens to be almost impossible to lose. It can be mobilized only in times of starvation and pregnancy.

Since 1975, the FDA has required labeling and advertising of HCG to state:

“HCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or "normal" distribution of fat, or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with calorie-restricted diets.”

This does not mean its not safe, nor does it mean its not effective. What it means is that there are no double blind clinical studies that have been reported in peer reviewed clinical journals supporting the use of HCG as a dietary aid. You should talk to people who have done the diet and consult your physician.

NOTICE: ALL WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN PREGNANT & ALL MEN WHO HAVE GONE THROUGH PUBERTY HAVE HAD HCG IN THEIR BODY AT FAR HIGHER LEVELS THAN THOSE TAKING HCG AS PART OF THE HCG DIET.

Past side effects, although minor, were reported by patients taking HCG at 50-70 times the dosage prescribed for the HCG Diet (10,000 I.U.'s prescribed for increased ovulation vs 125-200 I.U.s prescribed for HCG Diet); we are not aware of any side effects reported from taking HCG for the diet. All past side effects from taking high dosage HCG were similar to symptoms that many women typically experience during pregnancy, such as delayed, shortened or prolonged menstual cycles or minor cramping.
